Federpesca recalled how crucial it is to work closely with all blue economy players for a common and shared vision that puts the sea back at the centre of the country's economic policies
On the occasion of the National Day of the Sea, at the 3rd National Summit on the Sea Economy - Blue Forum in Gaeta, Federpesca recalled how crucial it is to work closely with all the players in the blue economy for a common and shared vision that puts the sea back at the centre of the country's economic policies.
"We are here to bring our contribution to the strategic plan for the sea," said Federpesca Director Francesca Biondo, "because fishing is a fundamental productive sector that needs industrial and labour policies that are up to the challenges that await us."
"To give hope to our sector we need to tell the youth of this country that there can be a future of satisfaction in the sea. Only in this way will we be able to meet the challenges of innovation and sustainability, while continuing to guarantee quality products on the tables of Italians," concluded Director Biondo.
There were many institutional speeches, including Ministers Musumeci and Urso and Senate President Larussa. An appointment, unique in Italy, that annually brings together, in attendance, all public and private stakeholders operating in the sea economy sectors.
