For the St Bartholomew Fair on Sunday 27 August
Land of Barbera, Moscato and a generous gastronomy, the province of Asti is also a lively zootechnical square for the Piedmontese cattle breed. The summer showcase is scheduled for Sunday 27 August in Valfenera, for the Fiera di San Bartolomeo which combines the main fassone product with other typical specialties, garlic and pitu, the traditional turkey from Asti.
At its 27th edition, the inter-provincial Piedmontese exhibition, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the Regional Breeders Association and Anaborapi, brings to the catwalk a qualified selection of live animals and a parade of the best fattening animals.
