Falling prices for fresh loins drag down the profitability of slaughtering, while the price of Parma ham rises

After a long favourable period, slaughter pig prices showed a setback in November. This is the main, but not the only element to emerge from Crefis (Centre for Economic Research on Sustainable Supply Chains www.crefis.it) calculations.
