The curtain rises on Cibus Connecting Italy in Parma on Wednesday 29

Theme trails, special areas and many events will animate an intense programme of events

Wednesday will see the opening of the Cibus Connecting Italy exhibition, scheduled from 29 to 30 March at Fiere di Parma. This year's edition of the International Food Exhibition offers to the approximately 20,000 operators expected from all over the world, one thousand agro-food brands and four special areas: fresh fruit and vegetables; vegetable-based functional ingredients; nutraceuticals and sports supplements; and ingredients and technological solutions for ice cream and pastries. In addition, more than 500 new products and a selection of one hundred innovation references will be physically displayed in the Innovation Corner in Hall 4.
During the opening ceremony, which will be held on 29 March at 10.30 a.m. in the Plenary Hall in Hall 4, a NielsenIQ study on the future of the agri-food sector in the face of the inflationary spectrum will be presented.

The fair will feature a rich programme of workshops and meetings that will delve into the hot topics of the sector, as well as moments of tasting and discovery of the products on display. An ad hoc space will be dedicated to start-ups in Hall 6, where thirty companies belonging to the Le Villagé by Crédit Agricole circuit will exhibit.
Lastly, the Banco Alimentare, at the end of the days of the fair, will recover surplus food from the stands and donate it to charitable organisations.
