Offida Pecorino DOCG was the first protagonist of an event dedicated to the encounter between wine and food, to promote and disseminate the wine biodiversity of this region in combination with traditional Italian dishes
An original and unconventional format to promote and divulge the peculiarities of Marche Region wines through the key of pairing them with traditional Italian dishes. This is the focus of “Autoctoni Gourmet”, an event organised by the Marche Chamber of Commerce for the Consortium of Piceno Wines in collaboration with the Special Agency LINFA.
The first edition of the format took place over the past few days in San Benedetto del Tronto and saw the participation of food and wine journalists, influencers and bloggers, all busy at the Harena Chef Academy cookers reproducing a dish created by chef Arcangelo Tinari (Villa Maiella restaurant - One Michelin star), to be paired, in this case, with the Piceno territory's main white wine, Offida Pecorino DOCG. The objective was to bring out the organoleptic qualities and typicality of this white wine by pairing it with a signature dish of Italian cuisine.
