The Protection Consortia accepted the invitation to Turin from the Emilia-Romagna Region. On the afternoon of Saturday 24 September, the two made-in-Parma cured meats will be the protagonists of ad hoc thematic meetings, which will be followed by product tastings.
The Emilia-Romagna Region brings its excellence in the art of butchery to the showcase at Terra Madre - Salone del Gusto. In fact, nine PDO and PGI cured meats will be the subject of focus in Turin, as part of the event promoted by Slow Food. Among them - and it is an absolute first time - the Coppa di Parma PGI and Salame Felino PGI, protagonists on the afternoon of Saturday 24 September. In collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the respective Protection Consortia organize two thematic in-depth studies, which will be followed by product tastings: an opportunity to meet a qualified, sensitive audience. to themes such as the link with the territory, the centuries-old tradition, the excellence of raw materials and the almost sartorial attention to production. The first appointment is at 1.15 pm on Saturday 24 September, organized by the Consortium for the Protection of the Coppa di Parma PGI. The one dedicated to Salame Felino PGI will follow at 1:45 pm. The institutional space of the Emilia-Romagna Region at Parco Dora, stand B5, will act as the theater for both moments.
