Until 3 November, Italian salami at the centre of a challenge involving visitors
The Istituto Valorizzazione Salumi Italiani (IVSI) is taking part in the Genoa Science Festival - an international benchmark event for spreading scientific culture since 2003 - with a permanent workshop entitled ‘Il Gusto della Sfida’ (The Taste of the Challenge), at the Piazza delle Feste, Genoa's Old Port Area.
From yesterday, 24 October, to 3 November, visitors will be able to try their hand at a challenge that, to the sound of slices (of salami) and ingredients from the various Italian regions, will help them understand how much we really know about traditional and commonly used foods such as cold cuts.
