Felsineo Group at Mortadella Please

Celebrating 60 years of activity between tradition and innovation

Three days of celebration to celebrate the pink queen of cured meats. From Friday 29 September to Sunday 1 October Zola Predosa returns to color pink, for the 15th edition of one of the tastiest events of September, Mortadella Please.

Felsineo Group confirms itself as a partner of the event, proposing various initiatives and consolidating the great attention to the community and the development of this area on the outskirts of Bologna where the company moved in 1963, when it was only a small town of around 7,000 inhabitants.

A Mortadella Please Gruppo Felsineo presents all the intense aroma and unmistakable taste of its high quality mortadellas. In the food stand in the square, it will be possible to taste La Blu, produced according to the original and ancient recipe, La Sciccosa, with 100% Made in Italy meat signed by Italian farmers, and Km Rosa, the local mortadella which owes its flavor particularly delicate when using meat from pigs raised on pasture and fed a diet rich in vegetable Omega 3.

Don't miss the company tour on Sunday 1st October, even more important this year because it coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Group's activity. For the occasion, a guided tour was set up, "Sustainability in history", which presents the main stages of the evolution that transformed a small artisan workshop into today's international reality.

The visit, free and open to all, starts from the raw materials reception area, the very spot where Felsineo was born in 1963 and where the first generations of the Raimondi family worked. We continue through the "Laboratory", built to celebrate 50 years of history, where the Artisan Mortadella 1963 is still produced today, a light, tasty and extremely digestible cured meat, thanks to a careful selection of the best fresh meat and a system of patented grinding, the result of extensive research.


The route will then also allow you to get to know the other company in the Group, FelsineoVeg, founded in 2016 thanks to the desire to offer its consumers a similar level of taste and quality in products based on vegetable proteins. 2016 therefore represents a very important stage in the Group's sustainability journey.
