Prosciutto Toscano DOP among the protagonists of the GUSTO TV commercial
The European project GUSTO presents itself to the Italian public with a commercial on air from 1 to 14 October on the Mediaset networks

Prosciutto Toscano DOP is the protagonist, together with Pecorino Toscano DOP, Finocchiona IGP and Olio Toscano IGP, of the television commercial dedicated to the European GUSTO project, broadcast on Mediaset from 1st to 14th October.
The commercial represents an important step for the promotion of Prosciutto Toscano DOP, which for the first time, thanks to this project, appears on television promotion alongside the other three agri-food excellences involved.
The main character of the commercial is a photographer, played by Laura Contardi, who shows and talks about the tangible quality of the products through her shots. Accompanying the images is also the voice of Domitilla D'Amico, voice actress of Margot Robbie, Scarlett Johansson, Emma Stone and many international stars, who leads us to discover the sensations, flavors and characteristics of the four agri-food excellences. The commercial highlights the peculiarities of the products of the GUSTO project: "The most authentic essence, an unmistakable cut, the perfect shape, a touch of emotion...", characteristics that immediately communicate the beauty and goodness of these excellences.
GUSTO (acronym for Guarantee, Uniqueness, Flavour, Tradition, Origin) is a three-year European project dedicated to the promotion and valorisation of excellent gastronomic products whose quality is guaranteed by the DOP and IGP brands. Started in June 2023, the project sees the Consortium of Prosciutto Toscano PDO engaged alongside the Consortia for the protection of Pecorino Toscano PDO, Olio Toscano PGI and Finocchiona PGI, in promotional activities aimed at the Italian and German public.
In fact, in the month of October other activities will also continue in Germany, a country which represents the first destination market for exports for Prosciutto Toscano DOP.
On 17 October, the Consortium of Prosciutto Toscano DOP together with the other three agri-food excellences of the GUSTO project, will promote themselves at an event in Berlin, at the Coccodrillo Restaurant (Big Mama catering group), where chef Gianluca Casini, of Tuscan origin and president of the Italian Chefs Association in Germany, will enhance the uniqueness of these four products.
Restaurant Week will then take place from 23 to 29 October, during which German consumers will be able to directly experience the four excellences, through tastings and special and innovative recipes. A series of specific activities dedicated to operators, food bloggers and specialized journalists are also planned from 19 to 22 October.
