The Martini Group announces the 'Green Pig' project, a major plan aimed at making pig farming more sustainable through significant innovation in both process and product.
The Innovation Plan, developed in collaboration with the University of Bologna, is designed to make the Martini supply chain more competitive and resilient, in line with the objectives of the European 'Farm to Fork' strategy for a green transition of the farming system. The project focuses on the health and welfare of pigs, optimising the use of production inputs to mitigate the environmental impact of intensive animal husbandry.
