Vinitaly, and Italian wine, in the spotlight with a global road show organised in collaboration with the country system. From 19 January to 23 February, the world's leading event for Italian wine products will be visiting 9 countries (12 cities, 13 stops on 3 continents: Europe, Asia and North America) that together account for two thirds of total wine exports from Italy.

«This is a team effort involving institutions, ICE and the Chamber of Commerce system, the foreign representation network and the internal structure of VeronaFiere» stressed President Federico Bricolo. «An activity in line with the company mission that focuses first and foremost on the promotion of Italian labels, at a particularly delicate time for the sector engaged in dealing with the impact of rising production costs. The Roadshow is also an opportunity to explore new opportunities for a stable presidium of the Verona Exhibition Centre on certain markets of interest, as already underway with Wine To Asia and Vinitaly China Road Show for China and the broader Far East area, and with Wine South America for Brazil and the South American continent».

«This is a promotional initiative without precedent in the history of the event, which adds to and implements the important investment of more than 3 million euros for the incoming of buyers and operators in view of the next Vinitaly, scheduled at VeronaFiere from 2 to 5 April» highlights the CEO of VeronaFiere, Maurizio Danese. «A total of 50 thousand kilometres of travel to target countries that represent, both in terms of prospects and consolidation, a good part of the present and commercial future of Italian wine in the world».
