26, Jan 2024

Also for this edition, AquaFarm confirms itself as an unmissable training event. As always, the fair combines the exhibition spaces with a broad agenda of conferences and workshops, organized in collaboration with the main experts and associations in the sector.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 14 February, two topics of great importance for the aquaculture sector will be addressed: sustainability in feed production and the latest trends in research.

Feed has a significant impact on the aquaculture supply chain, both economically and in terms of environmental impact: at AquaFarm researchers and innovators will present projects that have the important objective of making the sector more sustainable through the optimization and improvement of resources primaries and ingredients.
We will talk about it during the conference Circularity and sustainability in feed production, scheduled from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm.

For the progress of an essential and rapidly growing sector such as aquaculture, a fundamental role is played by research. In the Technologies and trends in research session, scheduled from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, researchers and experts from all over the world will present the latest news relating to animal welfare throughout the entire breeding cycle, the use of fish skin in therapies medical, new selection methods and much more.
