EU Action Plan: protecting and restoring marine ecosystems for sustainable and resilient fisheries
On 30 May, the 13th Agriculture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies convened a hearing of representatives of the fishing sector's trade organisations and the most representative associations in the sector as part of the examination of the 'EU Action Plan: Protecting and Restoring Marine Ecosystems for Sustainable and Resilient Fisheries' (COM(2023) 102). The Director of Federpesca, Francesca Biondo, intervened, reiterating Federpesca's contrary position and thus bringing the voice of thousands of fishermen and businesses.
