European Maritime Policy and Aquaculture Fund call: applications by 30 October
The Liguria Region has approved the allocation of 191,000 Euro for sustainable fishing. It is a call of the Po Feamp, European Fund for Maritime Policy, Fisheries and Aquaculture, aimed at promoting environmentally sustainable, resource-efficient, innovative and competitive fishing. The call is aimed at fishermen for investments on board, tourism related to sport fishing, catering, environmental services related to fishing and educational activities related to fishing. The deadline for applications is 30 October 2022.
At a difficult time for ichthyic tourism, also linked to the increase in petrol costs, with this measure we want to help the sector," explains the Liguria Region's Fisheries Councillor, Alessandro Piana. We are doing this by allocating resources that can help the families of our fishermen in the diversification of income for the development of complementary activities related to the main fishing activity".
