Schools and families in the spotlight at Slow Fish 2023

Excursions, games and 'rescue operations': the pleasure of education according to Slow Food is in Genoa from 1 to 4 June

19, May 2023

What are alien species? Which fish are most sustainable? How does it feel to be a fisherman for a day? These are just some of the curiosities at the heart of the Slow Fish 2023 initiatives aimed at schools and families visiting Genoa from June 1 to 4.
The eleventh edition will be held at the Porto Antico and Piazza Caricamento with the theme Coast to Coast, a way of underlining how aquatic and land environments are closely interconnected ecosystems. There will be a rich programme of activities interpreting the central themes of the event organised by Slow Food and the Liguria Region: Conferences, Workshops, Aperitifs, the Market, and above all playful events dedicated to children of all ages. Because, as is customary at Slow Food events, it is from the younger generations that awareness of their food choices is built, choices that are good for aquatic ecosystems and for our health and that of the planet.
