On Tuesday 21 March, at the Federico Fellini Hall of the Fulgor Cinema at the Fellini Museum, the final conference of the 'Cultural Heritage of Fishing' project was held, entitled Fishing with Traditional Gear in Lagoons and at Sea Towards the Candidature for the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. With the 'PCP' project, the Italian Fisheries Local Action Groups (FLAGs) have started a participatory pathway for the candidature of the Fisheries Cultural Heritage for inclusion in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage supported by UNESCO. A path that was made possible thanks to the funding of cooperation projects between FLAGS of the EMFF Operational Programme 2014-2020. And at the final conference, the UNESCO Candidacy Dossier and the documentary Salsedine were presented, a journey through 6 regions of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas that recounts the passions and emotions that emerge from many typical and characteristic elements of those who live the sea every day.
