Tax credits, expedited payments for temporary and permanent closures, and the reallocation of funds to address the international crisis. These were the key topics discussed at the meeting held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry, a discussion focused on urgent measures and the critical issues currently affecting the fishing and aquaculture sectors.

At the conclusion of the institutional meeting, the president of Legacoop Agroalimentare, Cristian Maretti, expressed his views and offered a “positive assessment of the meeting and the range of issues addressed; given the tensions in the fishing communities, I would hope for an extraordinary administrative effort to provide answers as soon as possible.”
