The Signing Ceremony of the Halal Mutual Recognition Agreement between the ‘World Halal Authority’ (WHA) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia took place yesterday in Milan. The event represents a crucial milestone in the Halal certification sector and in bilateral relations between Italy and Indonesia, marking a significant step forward in cooperation between the two countries.
The Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) will facilitate Italian exports to Indonesia, thanks to the alignment of Halal criteria between the two countries and compliance with the new Halal regulations recently introduced by the Indonesian government.
