Organised by the City of Turin, the Piedmont Region and Slow Food, with the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, the 15th edition of the most important international event dedicated to good, clean and fair food for all and food policies continues the journey towards building a new relationship with nature, within nature: We have always been convinced that food - which for us represents culture, sharing, pleasure - is the most powerful element that brings us back to the earth, to water, to ecosystems. This path is the fruit of the reflections that Slow Food has initiated and shared on an Italian and international level with its network of members, producers and artisans, cooks, shepherds and fishermen, institutions, civil society organisations and partners over almost 40 years of the association's history (1986 saw the birth of Slow Food Italy) and 20 years of Terra Madre (2004 the first edition).
