At DiviNazione Expo being held in Ortigia - Syracuse, the Venetian Flag presented the Pcp project for the valorisation of trades and equipment
There is lagoon fishing and fishing with the bragozzo and battana. But there are also the trabocchi, the serraggiante and the nasse. These are just a few examples of the traditional tools and boats of artisanal fishermen that are part of the Pcp (Cultural Heritage of Fishing) project with which the Venetian Flag (Fisheries Local Action Group) has started the process of registering fishing and aquaculture trades, artefacts and equipment as a Unesco heritage site. A project that currently involves 6 regions (Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Marche and Abruzzo) and 9 Flags (Gac Fvg, Veneziano, Gac Chioggia e Delta del Po, Costa Emilia Romagna, Marche Nord, Costa Blu, Costa di Pescara, Costa dei Trabocchi, Golfo degli Etruschi), but that wants to grow.
