An initiative of the association Absentia - Exploring the Absence
In November 2024, the seaside village of Stintino, on the north-western tip of Sardinia, will become the laboratory of an innovative project that aims to revolutionise the concept of tourism in small coastal communities. Digital Fishermen, an initiative of the Absentia - Exploring the Absence association, co-funded by the Fondazione di Sardegna, is a pilot project that aims to transform Stintino into a hub for digital nomads, creative people and remote workers during the low tourist season, when the village, known for its heavenly beaches and crystal-clear sea, empties of the usual summer tourist flows.
The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to revitalise the local economy through a diffuse coliving model that embraces the authenticity of Stintino life; on the other, to create a sustainable tourism experience that enhances local traditions and allows participants to immerse themselves in the local culture and community.
Registration for November is open until 20 October 2024. For more information and to apply, please visit Absentia | Exploring the Absence:
