Region pursues project to safeguard species threatened by climate change
In recent weeks, the Umbria Region, in cooperation with the Regional Forestry Agency, has intensified the sowing of Mediterranean trout produced in Borgo Cerreto as part of the Life Imagine project. This initiative aims to preserve the native fish populations of Umbrian rivers. The sowings concerned the Nera, Vigi and Corno rivers, with the introduction of over 30,000 fry, 500 small trout (6-9 cm) and 2.5 quintals of adult trout (20-25 cm).
