The enhancement of European organic products passes through SANA 2023. The "Being Organic in EU" project, developed in partnership with Naturland, will be at the center of the historic Bolognese event, which this year promises to be even more international and B2B-oriented.
Being Organic in EU makes an appointment in the large exhibition space (Pav 29 – Stand C24/D19) dedicated to the promotion of organic culture, the central objective of the campaign supported by the EU which aims to enhance this sustainable, healthy and resilient agri-food system from the point of view from a climatic and ecological point of view, in line with the objectives of the Green Deal, the Farm to Fork strategies, Biodiversity 2030 and in perfect synergy with the European Action Plan for the development of organic agriculture.
The Project will also be at the center of networking initiatives involving operators and businesses, in-depth events, themed dinners and show cooking with tasting to present the organic world at 360°: from the farm to the table. Not to be missed on Friday 8 September, the thematic workshop entitled "Italian animal husbandry. Because the future can only be organic”.
Being organic has also organized a buyers lounge at SANA dedicated to professionals in the sector aimed at increasing the synergy between organic operators.
The broad platform of initiatives and programs is created as part of the "Being Organic in" Eu campaign promoted by FederBio in collaboration with Naturland and co-financed by the European Union pursuant to EU Reg. n.1144/2014
“Especially in a decisive moment for the agroecological transition like the current one, it is important to increase the knowledge of organic agriculture and its fundamental role in mitigating climatic dangers, protecting soil fertility and biodiversity - declares Paolo Carnemolla, Secretary General of FederBio - The participation of the Being Organic in EU project in a historic and authoritative event such as SANA goes in this direction. Through the BIO Revolution, the general states of organic farming, workshops, debates and networking initiatives, we aim to focus attention on the distinctive values of true organic farming and on the concrete national and international development opportunities of this sector which sees Italy among the leading countries in Europe”.
