The green heart of Umbria returns to the limelight from 28 October to 26 November 2023 with the XXVI edition of Frantoi Aperti, the now famous event which, involving a growing number of Umbrian villages, celebrates the arrival of the new extra virgin olive oil reviving the pressing period, with experiential visits to the oil mill and a busy calendar of initiatives set between the natural setting of the olive groves and the medieval charm of the many participating municipalities.
Accredited as a symbolic event of oil tourism in Italy, Frantoi Aperti will offer visitors, again this year, the opportunity to experience the mill in progress, witnessing the production of new oil and immersing themselves in these places which have become multifunctional which, while maintaining a spirit faithful to tradition, show a growing attention to design innovations and, above all, an increasingly marked propensity for hospitality, which precisely on the occasion of Frantoi Aperti finds the ideal moment to express itself at its best.
