For the director of the National Association of Italian Beef Cattle Breeders, Stefano Pignani, this is a necessary step to counter the distorted and incorrect information that attacks the sector. “With the other players in the supply chain we are already working to identify ad hoc initiatives and strategies”, he states at the end of a historic edition of AgriUmbria.

“The great success of AgriUmbria, where the majesty of the beef cattle of the native Italian breeds represented by ANABIC played the role of undisputed protagonist, has given us the increased awareness of how necessary it is to involve the consumer in a path of more in-depth knowledge to overcome those barriers that distorted and often incorrect information is trying to raise”.

Stefano Pignani, director of ANABIC (National Association of Italian Beef Cattle Breeders) draws a more than positive assessment of the three days that characterized the 55th edition of AgriUmbria (5-7 April 2024), the most important agrozootechnical exhibition in Central-Southern Italy which this year broke all visitor records, exceeding 85 thousand presences.
