Wine, music and astronom: “Riflessi di Stelle” at Cantina di Venosa

On 10 and 11 August, the Vulture wine tourism event returns after three summers

Just a few more days for the great return of Riflessi di Stelle, the popular wine tourism, musical and astronomical event of Cantina di Venosa, the Vulture cooperative company, among the most important and most awarded in southern Italy, based in Venosa (Potenza ). The last edition took place in 2019; over 3 thousand participants in a single day.

The event will open on Thursday 10 August, at 9 pm, with the conference dedicated to the new "Supply Chain Enhancement Project". Participants include the Regional Councilor for Agriculture of Basilicata, Alessandro Galella; the president of Cantina di Venosa, Francesco Perillo; the technical designer Giuseppe Filippi; and representing the managing authority of the PSR Basilicata 2014/2020, Vittorio Rocco Restaino. The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Luciano Pignataro.

The Riflessi di Stelle program includes a daily master class at 8.30 pm (ticket €20, 4 wines to taste); on Thursday led by Ais - Italian Sommelier Association, on Friday by Fis - Italian Sommelier Foundation.
Admission to the event is free, however, to freely taste the many wines on the tasting counter, a €10 ticket is provided for a bib, a glass and three labels for tasting. At the tastings it will be possible to combine street food in Lucanian and Apulian sauce, in the various stands: the "strazzata", a bread with black Cancellara pork mortadella and Lucanian pistachio; cod and crusco pepper from Senise; local gourmet panzerotti; typical sweets, etc; at prices from 2 to 5€.

Three concerts scheduled
On the evening of 10 starting from 10 pm Malatia Tour in Concert with Ciccio Merolla, Neapolitan musician and percussionist of a large part of the Neapolitan art scene (Bennato, Senese, Gragnaniello, etc). Followed by Renanera, a band born in 2012 in Basilicata with the idea of mixing popular and contemporary music and telling current stories also in dialect.
On the 11th it is the turn, however, of La Rua, an Italian folk pop group founded in Ascoli Piceno in 2009, voted second behind Mahmood at Sanremo Giovani 2018 and present three times at the May Day concert in Rome.
