New Agreement for Meat Exports to Canada

Conditions defined to resume exports of raw hams and products matured for at least 6 months

After lengthy negotiations, the Ministry of Health has reached a new agreement with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for the export of cold cuts from areas restricted due to African Swine Fever.
‘This is a great result, the result of complex and lengthy negotiations conducted with extreme professionalism and dedication by our Ministry of Health, with the invaluable support of the European Commission,’ said ASSICA Director Davide Calderone.
