This was the response of Massimiliano Ruggenenti, president of the Lombardy Beef Producers Consortium, an organisation that brings together around 400 farms with an annual production of around 90-100,000 head of cattle, to the debate launched last Wednesday by President Mantovani during Coldiretti's major event in Milan calling on the European Union to change its approach to agriculture and food.
