The first edition of the General Assembly of Animal Husbandry, entitled Uniting the supply chain to strengthen Made in Italy and food sovereignty, promoted by Assalzoo and Fieragricola, will be held on Friday 6 February 2026, at 11:00 am at the Verdi Auditorium in Veronafiere. The event is an innovative initiative that brings together for the first time all the components of the animal husbandry and food supply chain, which generates an economic output of approximately €180 billion, over 8% of Italy's annual GDP (gross domestic product). All levels of the supply chain will participate, from primary production to industrial processing, distribution and consumers.
