Purchases of organic food products are experiencing a delicate phase, after a practically uninterrupted growth trend which culminated in a record-breaking 2020. According to data monitored by ISMEA, domestic purchases have in fact marked the pace in 2022, with a modest growth in value (+0.5% compared to +6.4% of the overall agri-food sector), which reduces the weight of the basket ORGANIC on the total expenditure on food and drinks by Italians.
